Course information
The course Spanish level 3 is intended for students with a fair basic knowledge of Spanish. You can participate in this course if you are able to hold conversations on a wide range of everyday topics (such as asking for directions and ordering a meal) and are familiar with different past tenses.
The primary aim of this language course is to improve your active language skills and your proficiency in speaking, listening and reading in Spanish. This course also covers writing skills.
On completion of Spanish level 3 you will be an advanced basic user of the language and able to hold brief conversations about familiar, everyday topics such as education, work, leisure, money, shopping, the future and the past.
To ensure that you are familiar with all basic Spanish grammar, the grammar covered in level A1 will be reviewed briefly. You will then learn more complex grammatical aspects, including sub-clauses using that/because/when, the imperfecto, indefinido and perfecto (such as vivía, viví, he vivido), the futuro (viviré) and condicional (me gustaría vivir) tenses.
