We offer both online and in-class courses at our location in Amsterdam. At the bottom of the course page in the course schedule you can choose either online or in-class. At the moment we don’t offer any hybrid classes.
Course information
Your teacher will bring your Dutch to a higher level by offering various course materials, interactive exercises as well as authentic materials, including newspapers and television programmes.
You will not only learn to catch the main message from the television news, but also to grasp the details concerning your native country. You will start to talk about what interests you and you will be able to distinguish between subtle nuances in the language you are using.
If you successfully complete this course, you will receive a certificate showing the level you have attained and you will be able to continue to Dutch Advanced 1.
Assessment
The intake procedure for this course comprises: intake interview, online testAfter you have registered for this course, we will invite you for an assessment to determine your level. We recommend that you enrol at least two weeks before the start of the course. If you enrol later than this, we cannot guarantee there will be time for the intake procedure. If you have completed the Dutch Intermediate 1 course at UvA Talen, an assessment will not be necessary.

The course material is not included in the course price. If you choose to follow lessons in class, you can buy your books through us. You then receive them during the first lesson. If you are going to take an online course, you will buy the books yourself.
