French level 3
Course information
To take the French level 3 course, you need to have a thorough basic knowledge of French. This means, for example, that you can already speak about yourself, your family and your environment and understand simple sentences in brochures, advertisements and promotions.
During the course, you will develop the language skills of reading, writing, speaking and listening in French. Grammar and vocabulary are also part of the course.
The subjects covered in the French level 3 course are health, food and sports. After completing French level 3, you will be able to write short texts about these topics, for example a message or comment on social media. In slightly longer texts on these topics, you are able to get the gist of the text, such as in a blog. You also work on your speaking skills: after completing this course, you will be able to give your opinion, make recommendations and ask a doctor questions.
The grammar covered in this course includes verbs that help you give an opinion, advice or a suggestion, such as trouver (to find) and penser (to think). You also learn the imperative (for example sois tranquille, dépêche-toi ! and partons !) and personal pronouns (je, tu, moi, toi, me, te, etc.).
