Course information
Students must have some knowledge of English to take the course English Elementary 2. You have to be able, for example, to arrange an appointment with someone in writing or orally, and to form sentences using the present simple and past simple tenses.

On completion of this course, you will be able to make yourself understood in English when on holiday: for example asking for tourist information, checking into a hotel and asking the way. You will be able to read simple texts, including personal blogs on lifestyle, food and sport, as well as being able to understand videos on these topics.
Grammar covered in English Elementary 2 includes the use of various present tenses (present continuous and present perfect). You will learn how to talk about the future using sentences with going to, and how to give advice using should and shouldn’t (you should visit your mother more often).
