UvA Talen offers summer courses in 13 different languages, with both online and on-location options available to suit your preferences. Each course is designed to maximize your learning progress while still leaving ample time to soak up the summer sun. Does it sound like a good option for you? Interactive summer courses

An intensive group course at UvA Talen takes two, three, or four weeks, depending on the language you want to learn. These courses take place from Monday through Friday, or three times per week. Don’t have the summer off? We also offer evening courses that take place once or twice per week and last for ten weeks. During these intensive courses, your language proficiency will rise up to two levels on the scale of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Prices start at €495.

What languages do we offer?

We offer summer group courses in all 13 of our available languages, to include: Dutch, English, Spanish, Italian, French, German, Portuguese, Swedish,  Arabic, Russian, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean. These courses are offered both online or in-class at our location in Amsterdam. To find your summer course, go to the group courses page and click on the language that interests you in the orange bar. After choosing your desired language course level, you will find a table at the bottom of the page in which the intensive summer courses are indicated by an orange sun.
