Open Evening event at UvA Talen: Take a trial lesson in 8 different languages!

Are you an expat residing in the Netherlands and eager to learn Dutch? Do you wish to improve your English communication skills for professional or academic purposes? Or maybe you’ve fallen in love with someone from another country and you’d like to start learning their language, whether that’s Italian, French or Arabic? We understand the feeling! And we also understand the difficulty of choosing where and how to begin learning. That’s why we’ve put together the perfect in-person event for you! Join us, the leading language school in Amsterdam on 12 September, 2024 for our Open Evening event. 

This Open Evening will include workshops in 8 different languages, complimentary language intakes to help identify your level, UvA Talen merchandise, exclusive discounts, the opportunity to win a free language course, and our friendly staff available to answer all of your questions. Our workshops 

During our Open Evening, we will be providing several language workshops each of 20-30 minutes long with our UvA Talen teachers. These workshops will give you a sense of what it is like to take a group course or a private, individual course at our language school! Each one will offer a fun, interactive way to learn new vocabulary and sentence structure.

The workshops will be spread out through the entire evening, which means you will have the opportunity to take more than one workshop if you would like to do so. The languages being offered include Dutch (beginners, intermediate and advanced levels), English (intermediate and fluency levels), Japanese (beginners), Spanish (beginners and intermediate levels), French (beginners), Chinese (beginners), Arabic (beginners) and Italian (beginners and intermediate levels). Please indicate on your sign-up form which workshops and levels you are interested in participating in during our Open Evening.
