Open Evening at UvA Talen: Take a trial lesson in 8 different languages!

Are you an expat living in the Netherlands hoping to learn Dutch? Would you like to improve your English speaking and writing for your work or studies? Or, would you prefer starting Italian, French or Arabic from scratch to surprise your in-laws? We know first-hand how difficult it can be to decide on where and how to start learning a language. This Open Evening event will be filled with language workshops in 8 different languages, free language intakes to determine what level is right for you, UvA Talen merchandise/goodies, extra discounts, and of course, our students and staff answering any and all of your questions. Our workshops

During our Open Evening, we will be providing several language workshops each of 20-30 minutes long with our UvA Talen teachers. These workshops will give you a sense of what it is like to take a group course or a private, individual course at our language school! Each one will offer a fun, interactive way to learn new vocabulary and sentence structure.

The workshops will be spread out through the entire evening, which means you will have the opportunity to take more than one workshop if you would like to do so. The languages being offered include Dutch (beginners and intermediate levels), English (intermediate and fluency levels), Japanese (beginners), Spanish (beginners), French (beginners), Chinese (beginners), Arabic (beginners) and Italian (beginners). Please indicate on your sign-up form which workshops and levels you are interested in participating in during our Open Evening.
