Would you like to get a head start on your New Year's resolution to learn a new language? Have you been wondering what an online language course would be like?
You've come to the right place! UvA Talen is a one-stop-shop for all of your language needs. Not only do we offer in-class language programmes in Amsterdam, but also online course settings that follow the same structure as our in-class courses – i.e. a trusted teacher leading the way, several other students, and course material taught from a textbook, PowerPoint presentations, and other visuals materials and fun exercises. We would like to give you the opportunity to try out one of these online courses from wherever you are in the world, and help give you the confidence you need to take the plunge and push that Enrol Now button!

Workshops to expect
During our Online Open Evening, we will be providing several language workshops each of 20-30 minutes long with our UvA Talen teachers and staff. These workshops will give you a sense of what it is like to take an online group course, a private, individual course, or an e-learning self-guided language course at our organisation! Each workshop will offer a fun, interactive way to learn new vocabulary and sentence structure.
The workshops will be spread out through the entire evening, which means you will have the opportunity to take more than one workshop if you would like to do so. The languages being offered include Dutch, English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Swedish, Russian, Chinese, Arabic, Japanese, and Korean. Please indicate on your sign-up form which workshops and levels you are interested in participating in during our Open Evening.
