January is the perfect time to turn over a new leaf, and what better way to do that than by learning a new language? Now is your chance to start your new year strong by enrolling in the language course that you’ve eyeing for the past few months! Whether you're looking to boost your Spanish, tackle Arabic, or start fresh with Dutch, Swedish, or Korean, we offer courses in 13 different languages both online and in-class at our office in Amsterdam.

What are your course options? 

Not only can you take an intensive daytime course in Dutch and English, following a successful formula of five lessons a week from Monday to Friday, but also an evening course in all languages for those who work or study full-time and prefer to not disrupt their busy work days. 

Our evening courses take place once, twice, or three times per week over the span of ten weeks. We offer these courses in all 13 languages available at UvA Talen: Dutch, English, Spanish, Italian, French, German, Swedish, Portuguese, Arabic, Russian, Japanese, Chinese, and Korean. 

The course format also allows plenty of time after each lesson to do your homework and to digest what you have learnt – time that you are sure to need! During these courses your language proficiency will rise up to two levels on the scale of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

All courses at UvA Talen are offered both online or in-class at our location in Amsterdam.

To find your course, go to the Group Course page on our website and click on the language of your choice in the orange bar. At the bottom of the course page, you can indicate whether you would like to follow the course online or in-class at our office in Amsterdam.
